Alec Baldwin in Heated Altercation with Comedian Jason Scoop in NYC

Alec Baldwin Nearly Comes to Blows with Trump Impersonator

Alec Baldwin found himself at the center of another heated confrontation Sunday night outside his Manhattan apartment, where he was caught on camera threatening to physically harm comedian Jason Scoop.

The 66-year-old "Rust" actor was reportedly unloading luggage when he was approached by Scoop, a comedian known for his Donald Trump impersonations. The interaction quickly escalated, turning into an intense verbal exchange that nearly led to violence.

Footage from the incident shows Baldwin visibly agitated as he engages with Scoop. At one point, he orders the comedian to "look at me" while pointing to a green light on his finger, seemingly indicating the presence of a camera.

"Do you realize my kids live in this building? I want you to know something," Baldwin says before making a shocking threat. "If this camera wasn’t here, I’d snap your f-----g neck in half and break your f-----g neck right now. You know that, don’t you?"

The confrontation didn’t stop there. Baldwin also warned Scoop that he would take his camera and "shove it up [his] a--."

Baldwin’s latest outburst is not an isolated incident. In April, he was caught in another altercation when he smacked the phone of an anti-Israel protester inside a New York City coffee shop.

The woman had approached Baldwin, demanding he say "Free Palestine" and criticize Israel amid the country’s ongoing conflict with Hamas. The video of that exchange also went viral, fueling discussions about Baldwin’s temper.

The Emmy-winning actor has long been known for his confrontational personality. Over the years, he has been involved in various public disputes, including an infamous 2018 altercation where he allegedly punched a man over a parking spot.

Despite his history of high-profile confrontations, Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, have recently taken a different approach to their public image. The couple, who share seven children, have opened their home to reality TV cameras for their upcoming TLC show, The Baldwins.

Beyond personal matters, Baldwin has also faced serious legal troubles. In 2021, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins tragically died on the set of Rust when a gun Baldwin was holding discharged.

The actor was initially charged with involuntary manslaughter, facing up to 18 months in prison. However, the case was later dismissed in what legal experts described as a "comedy of errors."
