At the NFL Combine on Tuesday, Veach made it clear that, as far as he knows, Kelce has no plans to walk away from football just yet.

"We had exit interviews, and Travis seemed fired up to get back at it," Veach shared.

With Kelce entering the final year of his contract, many had questioned whether the eight-time Pro Bowler would call it quits after another grueling season. But if his recent attitude is any indication, he’s not done making history.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was also asked about Kelce’s future, but he wasn’t ready to confirm anything beyond what’s already known.

"Right now, the most important thing is for Travis to take some time off and relax," Reid told reporters.

Kelce himself has been cautious about making any sudden moves. Since the Super Bowl loss, he’s admitted he won’t be making any quick decisions about his future. But with the Chiefs front office confident in his return, it looks like he’s gearing up for at least one more season in Kansas City.
